Great days out – countryside experience

Three beaches ‘Playwalk’

This full day begins at 9.00 a.m. and can finish at 4.30 p.m. or later. I meet the children at the start of the day and travel with you. (pre-visits by arrangement) We set off on a coastal walk spending time on three different beaches. We learn to skim stones and explore a ruined building on a pebble beach, we explore some fantastic rock pools on a seldom visited rocky beach, on the third beach we play on the sand, building, digging and burying with ‘adult led’ games if time allows. The children learn about coastal environments, history and aspects of the fishing industry along the way. (The order of the beaches depends on the tides.)

• Kit list provided, with spares available on the day.
